21 May 2019 -- Day 13 -- Eidfjord, Norway

We entered the Hardangerfjord at around 4:00 am and docked in this small village at 6:00am and awoke to gorgeous views.

After breakfast we boarded a bus for a short ride through the Ovre Eidfjord Valley to the Norwegian Nature Center and saw a splendid panoramic film of the Hardangervidda National Park and surrounding areas.  Absolutely breathtaking!!  It was shot from a helicopter that made you feel like you were actually on board flying through the valleys, up the waterfalls, across the lakes, and over the glaciers.

Goats grazing on the rooftop of the Nature Center gift shop and restaurant!!

The Nature Center had three floors of displays showing the wildlife of the region, its geographical rock formation, and the ice and snow of the slopes and glaciers.  The Hardangervidda National Park is one of the largest in all of Europe.

Our British friends photo-bombed our shot!!

Upon returning to our ship we strolled through Eidfjord taking in the local shops, people and scenery, especially the flora.
