Docking in the city at 8:00 am to a overcast, foggy, drizzly day. So there's not much in the way of pictures, and most of them we took as we walked around the center city.
The tour around Bergen and its various suburbs was very informative and we learned much about the area and its history. However photos will have to remain in our memory banks as the opportunities were weather-interrupted. We did manage to get those below.

Bryggen Wharf wooden houses

Funicular Railway to Mt. Floyen

Winding Path and Park next to Nykirk
Nykirk -- New Church
Do you wonder why the photos show so much green and budding shrubs and trees? Because Bergen gets an average of 270 days of precipitation a year! They even put Vitamin D in the bread so people will get enough of it. On a sunny, rare day, people will be sprawled out on all the grassy area soaking up the sun, even at the risk of not working! :-):-)

Wooden Houses on the tip of Nordnes Island
And tomorrow we leave Bergen for a scenic train ride to Oslo and a hope of clearer weather for more sightseeing!

Even though rainy, it's beautiful. Though it looks VERY cold! Prettiest McDonald's I've seen. :) I love the manhole covers! Those are great. Hope you aren't too sad getting off the ship, but at least your adventure continues!
